At Warley Road we believe that every child should be able to swim competently by the time they leave our school, and we put everything in place to ensure that happens. Swimming is a crucial skill for primary school students as it promotes safety, health, and confidence.Â
Teaching children to swim ensures they are equipped to handle water-related emergencies, reducing the risk of drowning. It also boosts physical fitness, coordination, and overall well-being while instilling discipline and perseverance. Moreover, swimming fosters social skills through teamwork and shared experiences, making it a valuable part of a well-rounded education.
